Google has announced a new ChromeOS device and it’s called the Chromebox Micro. This small computer is to be used by businesses to run kiosk machines and digital signages. These devices will come later in 2024 and can be seen in various public places. What’s amazing is the size of the Chromebox Micro is as the name suggests, compact as a smartphone.

What is Chromebox Micro?

Google is partnering up with Lenovo for its first Chromebox and it’s called the Lenovo Chromebox Micro. Moreover, the device is fairly powerful for such a compact design. It can stream 4K videos, share web-based content and power the touch screen kiosk machines and digital signages. Additionally, these types of devices are supposed to be rugged as they’ll be used in various scenarios. So, the Chromebox Micro has a fanless, dustproof and metal design, designed just for that purpose.
