Samsung Galaxy A55 Design and Render Leaks, Metal Build, AMD Graphics

The most awaited smartphone among the next Samsung A series lineups is the Samsung A55. We finally have our first look at the design and looks of the new Samsung Galaxy A55. CAD renders of the device form factor, design and build have leaked online.

Looking at the renders, it feels very close to the Samsung Galaxy A54. The similar centre punch hole and triple cameras array at the back. However, one noticeable change is the flat frame design. Unlike last year’s design with a rounded side frame, Samsung Galaxy A55 will have flat edges.

Other build features include the power and volume buttons on the right side. While the left side is completely plain. Additionally, the bottom houses the mic, type-c port and speaker. The SIM slot is on the top beside the secondary microphone. Surprisingly, there are antenna lines on the sides, which suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A55 is made of metal. This can be a huge and much-needed upgrade as well.

Also, it’s suggested that the Samsung Galaxy A55 will feature a 6.5-inch Full HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Looking at the screen size and thickness of 8.2 mm, the phone will be compact. Other expected details include the phone’s processor, which can be the new Exynos 1480 with AMD graphics. Samsung Galaxy A54 was powered by the Exynos 1380, which wasn’t up to the competition.

Samsung Galaxy A55 Camera

The camera setup is expected to be 50 MP + 12 MP Ultra Wide + 12 MP Telephoto. On paper, the setup is even better than the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE which only had an 8 MP Telephoto. Moreover, it may be backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 25W Fast charging. Also, like previous generations, the Samsung Galaxy A55 will be IP67 water and dust-resistant. With the launch date growing closer soon the expected pricing will also be revealed.
