Mistfall Hunter Beta 3 launched on September 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM PT (September 15 at 9:00 PM ET). Players can access the beta through Steam by requesting access on the official store page. Pre-download became available on September 15 at 8:00 PM PT, giving participants time to prepare before the servers went live.

Character Customization and Camp Exploration
Creating a character in Mistfall Hunter is easy. Players can choose a preset face and then personalize features across seven facial areas, with 56 options available. Once ready, we can join a vibrant camp hub with NPCs like Dew, who helps you level up and unlock new skills.
You can visit Secret for drinks, check the warehouse, browse the shop with Kazaro, or use the auction house run by Pip. As you progress, the camp will unlock more NPCs and shops.
Class Archetypes and Team Play
The game offers players a chance to test five unique classes. The available hero classes are Mercenary, Sorcerer, Black Arrow, Shadowstrix, and Seer. Each class includes two archetypes. This gives everyone two combat styles, different weapons, and exclusive talents in Mistfall Hunter
You can master classes and archetypes that alter weapons and skills. The Seer, for example, uses catalysts or maces based on archetype. Every class brings unique strategies, and you must pick your archetype before each match. We can form a team and play in the multiplayer camp, launching into missions in solo or trio modes. We can use emotes both in and out of matches, adding more fun to team play.

The game splits extraction missions into normal and chaos difficulty. Normal mode blocks top-tier gear, while chaos mode raises monster strength and loot rarity. The core goal is escaping Brandergard fortress with your loot. As you fight monsters, rival hunters, and hunt for returner woodlings, only the items you extract make it out.
New methods include the Soul Tree, which allows for early extraction, and Fairy Woodling, which has strict item limits. Pip’s Pocket helps secure loot, ensuring valuables stay safe even if you die. Each method in Mistfall Hunter encourages tactical decisions, so pick wisely and secure your escape.
Bosses, Forging, and More Features
Facing bosses in Mistfall Hunter Beta tests player skills and teamwork. The new boss, Harald, requires quick movement and control strategies. Valuable items now require identification and are assigned to tactical inventory slots. Forging allows equipment upgrades, and perfect forge results can give epic gear or accessories.
