Welcome to Everything New in The Finals 7.6 Update
You can really feel the energy across the playerbase with The Finals 7.6 Update bringing its biggest changes yet. There’s a mix of gameplay refreshes, balance adjustments, visual upgrades, and, of course, exciting new ways to play. This post breaks down all the biggest features and improvements the latest mid-season patch delivers.

The Finals 7.6 Update – Try the Super CASHBALL Mode
Now, The Finals 7.6 Update introduces a fresh game mode called Super CASHBALL. By the looks it’s chaotic fun of tossing a ball into the opponent’s goal and banking points for every pass between teammates. Each successful team pass can rack up to three bonus points, making coordination even more important. Private matches can really showcase just how high scores can go.
Matches play out in two 5-minute halves. There’s even a dramatic overtime: score with less than 30 seconds remaining and you’ll see a clutch comeback; plus 30 seconds added. If things tie, the team that scores first in overtime grabs the win. Be careful not to wander into the enemy goal zone. Doing so triggers a glitch effect that disables your cash ball pickup, specials, and gadgets until you get out.

Each class: medium playmaker, light striker, and enforcer heavy has custom loadout flexibility. You can mix and match toolkits like ride shield, goo grenades, jump pads, or zip lines, making gameplay feel uniquely yours. Super Cash Ball also supports leaderboards and private match lobbies for those who want to test out tactics or compete with friends.
Spin the New Prize Wheel and Unlock Custom Looks
The Finals 7.6 Update spices up reward progression with a new prize wheel. Spin using tickets from daily contracts for a chance at up to 20 unique rewards, including cosmetics and full outfits. Duplicate spins earn parts for extra spins, so every session feels worthwhile. Even your very first login nets you a complimentary spin.

Voice customization is now available. You can match any unlocked voice line with your favorite contestant face by heading to the appearance tab in the customization menu. While battle pass voices remain exclusive, regular voice lines can be purchased separately, and special effects like robot modulation are layered in as before. This adds a new dimension to personalizing your character’s personality.

Graphics, Performance, and DLSS4 Upgrades
One of the technical triumphs of The Finals 7.6 Update is the big leap in graphics technology. The patch upgrades DLSS to version 4.0.2; no more manual fiddling or extra apps needed. Latency is lower, visuals look even sharper, and the new “preset K” setting strikes the right performance balance. Nvidia Reflex 2 syncs perfectly, paving the way for Frame Warp, which will reduce latency even more once it arrives. There could be further support on both newer and older RTX cards after future driver updates.
Storefront Refresh: Cosmetics, Bundles, and Twitch Drops
A new batch of cosmetics lands with The Finals 7.6 Update. The Lotus Reaper bundle headlines the store, bringing a full outfit and 2400 Multi bucks currency to shop for more. Other newcomers include a Watch pack, Rewind Havoc bundle, Rise as One J-pad, Sensor Veil Bomber, and special voice lines and helmet cosmetics.

This update also kicks off Twitch drops, themed around Chuck the healing emitter. You can earn exclusive skins, stickers, and charms just for watching participating streams. All these fresh rewards keep customization interesting.
Anti-Cheat, Security, and Stability Changes
Security receives a meaningful upgrade in The Finals 7.6 Update. Developers patched a minigun exploit that previously enabled server crashes, leading to permanent bans for abusers. Impacted players in ranked modes are receiving their points back. The anti-cheat layer itself now leverages AI to identify hardware-based cheats, while keeping all personal data private. Steam Deck remains unofficially supported, even with kernel-level tech operating.
Weapons, Melee Reworks, and Game Balance
You’ll notice weapons and gadgets feel different with this update. All melee options: sword, sledgehammer, riot shield, dagger, dual blades, spear get sweeping animation and range tweaks. This should create a more consistent feel across matches. The KS23 shotgun now benefits from improved hitscan. The defibrillator has a longer charge, and healing tool VFX will appear in team colors.

Default loadouts are updated for new players. Grapple replaces dash as a staple, while gadgets like explosive mines and the M60 get quality-of-life boosts. Quality and polish continue with better UI rendering, smoother controller navigation, properly displayed text chat, and fixes across several maps including Monaco, Kyoto, and Las Vegas.
